HISTORY
Eos, the Greek goddess of dawn, proclaimed the rising sun from the sea by preceding it on a golden double-horse drawn chariot. With her handiwork as an announcer, the goddess took on two different names: Emera upon the Sun’s first appearance and Espera at twilight.
Today, Eos no longer announces but welcomes travellers from all over the world to Salento. Eos Hotel is a new dawn in hotel concepts.
Crossing the Salento is an extraordinary experience yet difficult to describe, as it includes: land, water, sun, wind, stone, olive trees, horizons, rhythm and colour. Images at every glance bring new perceptions and renewed experiences.
This is how the EOS HOTEL was designed, like a book of unseen images and untold stories. Fifteen ideas for fifteen experiential sequences, the culmination of a creative and multifaceted project, which has been transformed into “the rooms with a view” of Salento.
With a partnership between the hotel and the TraditiON association, the journey becomes a sheer experience. TraditiON promotes a novel way for rediscovering the territory through local delights that over time have revealed themselves in their uniqueness and value.
From sensory journeys to food and wine, from art to photography, from design to exquisite handmade products, everything results from attention to beauty and the profound meaning of hospitality, so as to discover the simple and genuine Salento with its age-old culture.
